27th December 2007 - We can now confirm TIZZ LIZZY will be appearing at the Tribute Night in Arklow "Tribute To The Black Rose" which will be held at The Arklow Bay Hotel, Arklow, Co. Wicklow - 12th April 2008. The Event is being organised by "Friends Of Philo" and is a charity event in aid of The Roisin Dubh Trust, 'Console' Suicide Awarness and Arklow Drugs Awarness. 15th December 2007 - TIZZ LIZZY are to feature in a new Documentary about Tribute Bands. The program will Feature interviews with the Band and LIVE Footage of the band on stage. More information as we get it.

11th November 2007 - We are very pleased and excited to report that TIZZ LIZZY will playing at the 22nd VIBE FOR PHILO - 2008. The Boys will be playing all three shows. This years VIBE sees the introduction of a New Post Vibe ** ALL AGES ** Matinee. 9th November 2007 - We have updated our Gallery Page to include Photo's from the Thin Lizzy Tribute Night In Bolton "The Boys Are Back In Bolton" which was held in September. We would like th thank Nick Sharp who took all the photo's and has kindly agreed to let us use them. Nick has a real talent and has captured some stunning images.

26th September 2007 - DATE CHANGE - Our Gig in Gildernews Bar, Armagh has been changed from 6th October and will now take place a week later on 13th October.

22th August 2007 - We have had some further news regarding the Thin Lizzy Tribute night that will take place in Co.Limerick in November. The event is being called "Thunder and Lightning" and will be held at the Ballintemple Inn, Churchtown, Newcastle West, Co.Limerick on Saturday 3rd November. The event will feature a number of bands with TIZZ LIZZY filling the Headline slot. 19th August 2007 - Castlebar local Radio Station CRCFM will be marking Phil Lynott's birthday with a Thin Lizzy special which will be broadcast between 6pm to 8pm on Monday 20th August. 12th August 2007 - Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances the promoter has had to cancel our gig in The Slaney Inn next week. We will re-schedule this date and hope to be back at The Slaney very soon.

12th August 2007 - We finally got around to uploading the Photos from "Dedication in Dumfries II" to the Gallery page. A very big thank you to Duncan Ireland for taking the photo's and giving us permission to use them on the site. Duncan has done a fantastic job and obviously has a big future as a photographer.

1st August 2007 - We are very excited to announce that Ian "Speedo" Wilson will be joining us on stage at our gig in The Spirit Store on the 4th August. For "One Night Only" Ian will be replacing Joe on guitar. Speedo has played in a number of bands over the years including: Sweet Savage, Emerald, Riff Raff, Tinn Lizzy and many others. With Speedo in the band Sweet Savage toured Ireland and the UK supporting Thin Lizzy on the 1981 Renegade Tour. Speedo is currently playing with Queen tribute band "Flash Harry"
Joe is not available for the Spirit Store gig but will be back with TIZZ LIZZY on the 25th August for the gig at the Slaney Inn.

1st July 2007 - We have had a few emails from people telling us about the extremely large Poster advertising our upcoming gig at The Bank, Newry on 7th July. We now have some pictures of the poster and we can safely say it is the largest TIZZ LIZZY poster we have ever seen. Check for yourself here

17th June 2007 - Our Forum has seen a big increase in the number of Fake Users trying to register recently. So far we have managed to filter out the fake registrations. If you have been trying to register but have been unsuccessful please drop us an email and we will make sure your registration goes through.

31st May 2007 - We have added a new date to the Tour Dates page. We will be playing at The Madison Bar, Rathmines, Dublin on the 27th July. This is our first Dublin date with the full band and we are really looking forward to it. We are very excited to report Dublin rock band "The Chaos Emerald" will be opening the show for us. Should be a great night.

20th May 2007 - We have updated the Gallery Page with some great Photo's of our recent Spirit Store Gig (photo's taken by Davey Murphy) We have also added some extra photo's to the McGrory's Gallery Page.

13th May 2007 - We are very pleased to announce we have been invited to headline "The Boys Are Back In Bolton" - A Tribute To Phil Lynott & Thin Lizzy. The event takes place on Saturday 22nd September at The Soundhouse, Bolton. More News as we get it.

13th May 2007 - Due to other commitments TIZZ LIZZY are currently on a seven week break. Work will still be going on behind the scenes however, we will be updating the Gallery page with photo's from our recent gigs and "Electric Savage" days and we will be adding more dates to the Tour Dates page.

13th May 2007 - We would like to thank everybody who looked after us so well at "Dedication In Dumfries II" last week, there are too many people to mention but we would specially like to thank Phil & Gillian Osborne (event organisers) Dave Hughes (video footage) Bjay & Chowey (support & encouragement on the night) Jimmy & Sylvia (transport on the night) & finally Derwin & Fiona (travelled over specially from Ballymena for the gig) The event was a huge success and everybody went away with a smile on their face. We hope to have some photo's from the night on the Gallery page very soon.

9th April 2007 - TIZZ LIZZY were awarded top marks on the Podge & Rodge show last week. Scoring 30 out of a possible 30 points you would think that would have been enough to win the battle of the Tribute bands, however girl rockers AC/D She (AC/DC Tribute band) had previously been awarded 31 points, which meant the boys had to settle for second place. Pauline McGlynn (Mrs Doyle from Father Ted) who had scored TIZZ LIZZY at 10 out of 10 was outraged and said the boys had been "robbed" Pauline said TIZZ LIZZY were fantastic and the other band could not have been better. She went on to say "Thin Lizzy were always a better band than AC/DC and the boys should have won"  Podge & Rodge said after the show "Well done on the show lads! If yis had skirts and a fanny ya might have won Ballydung Idol! Now, never darken our door again!!"
