20th March 2007 - We would like to thank everybody who came along to our gig at the Spririt Store, Dundalk on Friday night. The crowd were well up for it and we all had a fantastic night. We hope to make it back to Dundalk sometime over the Summer.
20th March 2007 - We have finally got around to updating the "Band profiles" section of the site. Special thank you to TIZZ LIZZY Technical Advisor Davey Murphy for taking the time to sit down and write something for us. Davey got fed up waiting for us to do it so decided to do it himself (and has made a fantastic job of it)
25th January 2007 - Unfortunately we have had to re-schedule our date at McGrory's in Culdaff, Co.Donegal. This was due to take place on 17th March (St.Patrick's night) but will now take place on 10th March.
19th December 2006 - We have introduced a "Reviews" section to the site - if you go to one of our gigs and would like to write a review please send it to us and we will stick it on the site. We kick things off with a great review of our recent Enniskillen show which has been provided by ZIGGY: Reviews
19th December 2006 - We are very pleased to announce TIZZ LIZZY will be playing at Dedication In Dumfries II (Scotland's Tribute to Philip Lynott & Thin Lizzy) We opened the show last year as Electric Savage (our former band) and it is a great honour to be asked back to play at this very special event. Also lined up to play are TIZZ LIZZY's good friends: Glyder Should be a great night. For the latest news on the event check out Phil Osborne's site: link
15th December 2006 - Our gig on 13th January will now take place at The Slaney Inn, Downpatrick. Thanks to Dee McKee for sorting this.
14th December 2006 - We are very sorry to report the sad news that The Hoot in Downpatrick has closed after 15 years in business. We were due to play there on 13th January and now this will not take place. We hope to confirm an alternative venue in Downpatrick very soon.
3rd December 2006 - We have updated the Gallery section with photo's from our Rosetta gig. We have also added a new section to the Gallery "Old Faces, New Places" In this section we will attempt to recreate famous moments from Thin Lizzy's history.

21st November 2006 - We unvieled our new TIZZ LIZZY Mirror backdrop at the Rosetta gig on Saturday night. The impressive backdrop was created by Barry Edgar and is based very closely on the Thin Lizzy original. We hope to have some photos from the gig on the site over the next few days.

27th August 2006 - We have updated the Galleries page and included some great photo's taken by Davey Murphy (Davey has obviously learned a trick or two from Chalkie Davies)
27th August 2006 - Roddy from the Rosin Dubh Trust Site has brought this story to our attention (taken from "Ireland On Sunday" 20th August 2006)
"No, Grafton Street shoppers, your eyes do not deceive you - it's Phil Lynott's doppelganger. Today would have been the Thin Lizzy legends 57th birthday and to mark it, his mum Phyllis has asked Belfast 18-year-old Matt Wilson to busk beside Phil's statue. As well as being uber-talented, Matt is the spitting image of Lynott, right down to his skin tight jeans"
Check out the photo's on the Gallery page to see what it's all about.
17th August 2006 - New date added to the Tour Dates page (this will be the first TIZZ LIZZY date with the full band line-up)
16th August 2006 - Matt & Phil will be in Dublin this weekend for the Statue Anniversary Gig. They are planning to do some busking on the Saturday afternoon outside Bruxelles (we don't have an exact time yet) Phil will also be playing something with the Wild Ones at the gig on the Saturday night.
16th August 2006 - It looks like our Guestbook has gone for good - we have been unable to find a new Guestbook we were happy with, so we have created our very own TIZZ LIZZY forum. Please post any questions you might have in the forum and we will try our best to answer them.
14th August 2006 - We are having some trouble with our Guestbook at the moment, we will let it run for a few days and if they don't fix it we will source a new one.
23rd JULY 2006 - TIZZ LIZZY made their debut last night at the Mourne Rock & Blues Festival (Mourne Esplanade, Kilkeel) The boys played a blistering One Hour set which went down a storm with the audience. We are very excited to report that TIZZ LIZZY's performance was recorded by legendary producer Tom Newman (the guy who produced Mike Oldfields's Tubular Bells album) and we hope to have some MP3 samples from the gig online as soon as we get the recording from Tom. We would like to thank Stand-In drummer Stevie Skinner who put in an outstanding performance & also Paschal Browne who amazed the crowd with his sax playing on "Dancing In The Moonlight" (he didn't even need to practise with the band) Check out the photos from the gig on the gallery page.
13th JULY 2006 - Phil will be making a guest appearance with
The Wild Ones at the Statue Anniversary Gig in Dublin (19th
August) This will be The Wild Ones last gig and Philip is really
looking forward to playing a couple of tracks with the boys at this
special gig.
16th JUNE 2006 - Due to planned holidays and lack of practise
oportunities, TIZZ LIZZY will not be "Gig Ready" until September.

Kilkeel gig on 22nd July (Stand-in drummer Stevie Skinner will
be helping out for this gig as Anthony will still be on holiday)
