Joe has fantastic chops; he’s the perfect foil to Phil’s playing, and no mean player himself.

In fact one might say he’s an interesting contrast. Joe has much broader appreciation of music generally and he brings these influences into play with Tizz Lizzy.

He’s got a great ear for detail; you only have to listen to his playing on early Bell era tracks like “The Rocker” to understand what poise and timing he has.

His style has that Scott Gorham /American influence from bands like the Red Hot Chilli Peppers and not only produces a wonderful funky guitar style which chimes in perfectly with Matt’s Bass playing but also weaves seamlessly in the wonderful cascading harmony lines that are Lizzy’s Trademark sound.
